Healthy Peanut Butter Cup
Anything Peanut Butter and Chocolate gets my heart racing and singing.
I literally cannot think of a better combination that goes together so well.
Im a little obsessed, if those first two lines didnt give it away!
I have long tried and tested healthy peanut butter cup recipes, to try and find something that actually tastes good.
Let me be the first to tell you, Cacao, Coconut Oil and Agave makes the WORST taking chocolate for PB cups, don’t be fooled by people telling you its delicious. It tastes NOTHING like a Peanut Butter Cup…… THEY LIE!!!!
I have created and created maaaaany different peanut butter cup combinations. And this is the WINNER by FAR!
I gave one to my partner, and he COULDNT tell the difference between the regular peanut butter cup (full of sugar) and this healthy one!!! BOOOYAHHHHH!!!!
2 x 90g No Sugar Added Dark Chocolate - Well Naturally
10 TBS of Natural Peanut Butter
Melt down the No Sugar Added Dark Chocolate.
Get 10 Muffin/Patty Liners, pop into muffin tray. Line the bottom of the patty liners with the melted chocolate. Spread up the sides of the PB cup.
Pop in the fridge. Just check on them to ensure that the sides are still coated. I found that I needed to spread it up the side a little before it had fully set.
Pop in 1 TBS of Natural Peanut Butter into the set chocolate. Depending on which Peanut Butter you pick will depend on if its runny or thick. If it is thick, ensure that you spread it around a little.
Sprinkle over a small amount of salt on top of the peanut butter.
Pour over the top of peanut butter the rest of the melted chocolate, letting it run down the side to meet the set chocolate.
Pop in the freezer to set for minimum of 3 hours. Peel off patty liners, store in fridge or freezer!
